Jessica joined Hillel Waterloo on September 2010. She is the Director of Community Programming at the Waterloo Region Jewish Community Centre (WRJCC). Jessica has a Masters in Curriculum Development, Theory and Policy from the University of Toronto, and an Honors BA in Philosophy from the University of Guelph.

Chanie is a 3rd year Kinesiology student at Wilfrid Laurier University. In the minimal spare time she has outside school and Hillel, you can find her at the gym working out or playing basketball, watching How I Met Your Mother and Grey’s Anatomy, and advocating for Israel in some way or another. Am Yisrael Chai!

Brian is a Wilfrid Laurier University student in the BBA program specializing in finance. Originally from Thornhill, he grew up in a large Jewish community. While the small Jewish student population in Waterloo was a big change from home, his experiences with Hillel have been great and the community is constantly growing. Brian is a passionate Israel advocate. After two summers volunteering in Israel, Brian looks forward to going back as soon as possible!

Rachel is a 2nd year Honours BBA student at Wilfrid Laurier University. In her first year she was the secretary for what was then the JSA. This year, she has been appointed as the Education Chair and official photographer for Hillel Waterloo. She led 'Holocaust Education Week' this past fall and hopes to continue promoting education in many forms, introducing new programs designed to further Jewish thought and awareness.

Jordan is a 2nd year Kinesiology student at Wilfrid Laurier University. Through Hillel, he got involved with One Match's Get Swabbed Buccal Swab Drive, which has now turned into an annual event at both Laurier and Waterloo Universities. As well, he is involved with the charity Right to Play, and tries to find time to both study and have a social life. Jordan has never been to Israel before, and is very excited for the opportunity to go visit on Birthright.

Josh is a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Forensic Cooking. This completely real field of study focuses on identifying the ingredients in food based on the tastes on textures of the meal. Having been involved with Hillel for six years, he has a wealth of experience assisting with students and programming which he is always ready to share in his role as past president. Other areas of study for Josh have included computer science and philosophy. Most people have learned to never trust
                                 anything he says. Chances are if it seems fake, he is just trying to mess with your head.

In his spare time, Kenny loves going to the gym, cooking, watching and playing many different  kinds of sports, like Hockey and Soccer.

Sefy grew up in Israel. After high-school he joined the Israel Defense Forces, where he served for 3 years. After taking a year off, he came to Canada for his academic studies, in March 2008. Currently, Sefy is a 4th year Computer Science student at the 
University of Waterloo. Sefy joined the former Jewish Students' Association (aka JSA) in January 2009, and became an
Executive Member at Large in September 2009. Sefy took on the roll of Website Administrator in January 2011.
