The fall term is beginning, and Hillel Waterloo is kicking it off with a barbecue and a private concert by Automatic Toys! Join us on Monday, September 13 at 7:30pm at the Hillel Latner House for Kosher food, drinks, and live music. You can learn about Hillel Waterloo, meet other Jewish students, and apply to be part of the Hillel executive board — a wide variety of positions is available. The barbecue is free — just bring yourself and your friends. All of the food will be Kosher, and vegetarian food will be available. Beer will be served to those who are of legal drinking age. Formerly the Jewish Students' Association, this will be the first of many events under our new name of Hillel Waterloo. Hillel serves as the main Jewish organization on campus, serving the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Conestoga College. The Facebook event page is here.
